Selfie type: Advanced liveness check
Face Liveness helps you verify that a user going through facial verification is physically present in front of a camera. It detects spoof attacks presented to a camera or trying to bypass a camera. Users can complete a Face Liveness check by taking a short video selfie where they follow a series of prompts intended to verify their presence. A photo is captured using the applicant's webcam and is subsequently compared to the photograph on their official documents. It's important to note that the comparison of the selfie with the document photograph only takes place when the document verification step is enabled and there is a document's first page with a photograph available.
To enable this selfie type, go to the verification settings, activate the selfie step, and choose "Advanced liveness check".

You can also enable automatic verification.

At this verification step, the webcam will be activated. If this doesn't happen, please make sure you grant all the necessary permissions to enable the webcam. The applicant should align their face with the oval displayed on the screen, avoiding any obstructions. Once all the requirements are met, they should simply click the blue button.
Click "Begin check" and follow the instructions.

Hooray! The liveness check step has been completed. You can check the step status in the applicant's dashboard, as well as the similarity of the selfie with the facial features in the documents.

To consider the step as completed, an admin must either approve the selfie or reject it while providing a reason for the rejection.
