Document verification step

The document verification step is designed for the collection, analysis, and processing of client documents. Applicants upload photos of their document pages, and the system processes these images, extracting data for convenient use. Additionally, documents can be manually checked for authenticity within the applicant's dashboard. Please note that the system can only process documents from countries and types specified in the documentation section.

To enable the document verification step, navigate to the verification settings.

In the "Steps" section, add the "Identity document" step, and select the necessary document types and capture methods.

In the "Supported ID Documents" tab, you can disable countries and their corresponding documents that you do not want to accept for the current verification process. You can also configure the required number of pages for each document type.

You can also enable automatic verification. The system verifies whether the document belongs to the specified country and ensures it is the correct document type. If the selfie step is enabled, facial comparison occurs between the selfie and the document. Additional checks include scrutiny for suspicious words in the document photo, searching for document duplicates online, and detecting any image manipulations. If all checks are successfully passed, the document step is approved. Otherwise, it is rejected, requiring the applicant to resubmit.

During the verification process, the client selects the country of their documents, the document type, and uploads the necessary document pages. The system checks whether the document corresponds to the selected type and country. If not, the document will be rejected immediately.

By visiting the applicant's page, you can view the uploaded document, as well as the extracted data from it. You have the option to rotate and mirror the document, check its properties, and download it. Additionally, you can verify the document for authenticity using Noise Analysis and Error Level Analysis. There is also an option to edit the extracted data from the document.

You can also see all the results of automatic image checks.

After verification, the admin must either approve the document or reject it while providing a reason for the rejection.
